Wet Fly on a Jig Hook

 

 

Here’s a way to avoid some of the “snag ups” while brim fishing; tie your fly on a jighook.  This is a traditional wet fly tied on a 1/100 oz jighook

1. the jig- 1/100 oz jighook

leech yarn

mono thread

3.  take fluff from the feather to make tail; tail as long as hook shank.
